I was delighted that so many of you were able to join France and I on Sunday, July 8th. It was wonderful to be able to catch up…alas all too briefly! My sincere thanks for all the great support and endorsement. The collaborative student portraits were a real hit…. congratulations to everyone who participated!

I was of course interested to see how my newest works were received, particularly my “abstracted” self portrait “Mosaic one”. I’ve always been interested in how the eye sees things, how images resolve up close and at distance. In this, the first of a new series of paintings, I am creating “two images in one”. Up close, an abstract and at a distance, a self portrait. I was thrilled with the positive feedback. Onward!
