Painting a Still Life “Alla Prima” (wet-on-wet) is a most enjoyable world. Moving all of that wet paint around, with zen-like placement and working to keep the possibility of overly mixed mud at bay. All good, gooey fun and the scent of linseed oil to boot – I don’t use solvents or smelly modern mediums – more later, in this blog.
