“Break-a-brush.com” has already been up and running for a few months now!
I’ve recently had a couple of discussions with Members about usernames, passwords, asking questions through the website and other topics. A germane time for a quick review!
Usernames and user profiles:
Your username is fixed in the system, however if you’ve mislaid this, your email works equally well. You can see your username, change your password, add and edit other facets of your profile from the “Member Login” page, using the “Edit Profile” button.
Password resets:
Should you mislay your password, resets are pretty straightforward: breakabush.com uses a very similar process to many other websites, just navigate to the “Member Login” page: press the “Forgot password?” button, and you’ll be prompted to enter your email and you’ll receive a password reset email – immediately.
Content postings:
The “Blog” section of the website includes our postings with weekly “Brush Bristles”, “Workshop Moments”, “Studio Insights”, “Artist’s Questions” and articles of general interest. There’s a separate “Methods” area that contains useful art practices and exercises.
Forums and asking questions:
I’d invite you to check out the (so far little used) “Forums” section, to participate in discussions, upload images of your art for inclusion in the Members Gallery and pose questions in the “Ask David Questions” section. You can start a new forum topic too… …please do!
Notifications and Newsletters:
You should be receiving notifications of all new Member’s site postings and pages as they are published – let me know if you don’t see something new every few days. Each month, we send you a summary newsletter in case you missed anything (perhaps you’ve been too engrossed in that latest art project!) and we’ll preview the month ahead as well.
Should you have any questions or issues, just let us know!
Break-a-Brush!
David
