During a workshop on perspective, I tackled this modernist painting in acrylic. I’ve been musing about whether to publish this session as a painting demonstration or an example of perspective. In this version I’ve focused mainly on my painting approach: undertones, layout, blocking form and so on to colour and impact. I touch on perspective so as to enable the painting to progress, with the painting then driven solely by colour and expressive brushwork.
