Weekly Brush Bristles … our inner child

At 83, Paula Rego says: “I’m very, very old. But I’m an idiot. I feel very young. How old do I feel?….Eight.”

Picasso famously quipped: “It took me four years to paint like Raphael, but a lifetime to paint like a child.”

Rubens offered: “Every child has the spirit of creation. The rubbish of life often exterminates the spirit through plague and a soul’s own wretchedness.”

….creativity is essential to the life of our inner child!
