Welcome to Summer Break-a-Brushers!

June was a very full month, with David’s Gauguin-inspired portrait drawing event at the National Gallery, the “Rembrandt to Renoir ” 2-day portrait workshop at the Shenkman and teaching at the Ottawa School of Art. As June now draws to a close, we’re excited about our upcoming summer Break-a-Brush programs:

Summer On-line courses (with individual reviews)

The all new, on-line Summer Drawing and Painting Program consists of 6 weekly on-line lessons with David’s review and coaching at each stage. Check out this new course along with our full set of on-line courses at: http://www.breakabrush.com/on-line-courses/

Our range of on-line courses helps tap into the precious and fleeting beauty that is Summer: each includes comprehensive web-lessons, containing video demonstrations, examples and assignments – with individual reviews.  Follow a weekly email schedule or work at your own pace!

Should you be in Almonte, you can check out some of my art at the Sivarulrasa Gallery: http://sivarulrasa.com/

Changes to the Members’ Site

Developing the Break-a-Brush Members’ Site over the last couple of years has been a wonderful journey. As noted last month, we’re now continuing the  Members’ Section without charge whilst increasing focus on our on-line courses. Studio Insights, Workshop Moments and of course “Brush Bristles”  will continue, albeit at a  more relaxed pace. Less frequented areas of the website, notably The Forum and Members Gallery, are being archived. Access to the website will of course continue as normal and you’ll still use the same log-in credentials to access the website information.

Have a wonderful, creative summer…Happy Canada Day!
