Instructors’ Exhibitions at the Ottawa School of Art

“France between two Paintings”, Oil over acrylic on canvas, 20″ x 16″, 2019

It’s nearly (already!) August with the annual Instructors’ Exhibitions at the Ottawa School of Art downtown and at the Shenkman Arts Centre in Orleans. I’m really excited to be part of both shows!

These exhibitions offer an opportunity for students and community alike to experience the caliber and wide variety of media, techniques and styles of art being taught at the school. The shows are now open through August in both locations. For additional details and opening times check out the OSA website: https://artottawa.ca/events/category/gallery-exhbitions/

Downtown (35 George St.): the exhibition is on until August  25th. My contribution is “France between two Paintings”, shown above.

In Orleans, (Shenkman Arts Centre) the exhibition is on until August 31st. A reception will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Thursday August 29th.  I’m exhibiting three watercolour studies on Yupo synthetic paper:

“Carla”, Watercolour on synthetic paper, 20” x 13”, 2018.
“Malika”, watercolour & gesso on synthetic paper, 20” x 13”, 2019.
“Elyse”, watercolour on synthetic paper, 20” x 13”, 2019.

France and I hope to see you!

David
