I’ve thought of putting some ideas and paintings together in a book for a while. I wanted to write about painting, the way it came to me and how I’ve worked with other artists to realize a journey of endless discovery. I also wanted to include some core ideas and approaches which I’ve come to cherish. I was equally keen to see how my own art looked in book format and tie it to the path I’m traveling. Most of all, I wanted to share an upbeat vibe that might encourage and inspire artists and art lovers alike. A pretty full grab-bag of ideas and so the stage was set.
I’m delighted to be publishing my first book next month: one artist’s journey, filled with reverence for the magic of art and illuminated by 100 of my drawings and paintings.
Join me this November for the launch of “Eighteen Pieces”.
