Summer of 2022 was spent plein-air painting along my local segment of the Trans Canada Trail. Searching out new locations to paint in my area was supremely fulfilling – then in the fall, I was able to exhibit 60 of the paintings at the Ottawa School of Art.
I’ve now put my paintings and experiences into an upcoming book, my second. “One Summer along the Trans Canada Trail – Plein-air Painting in Ottawa-Gatineau” will launch this month at the Ottawa School of Art and the National Gallery of Canada (both stock my current book).
Join me on Monday, March 20th for the start of Spring and launch of my new book: 43 paintings, lively anecdotes surrounding my plein-air odyssey and a little local history to boot!
