Terry Fox Remembered

Composite portrait from a 2012 class

In preparing for a workshop a few days ago, David and I came across a group composite painting of Terry Fox painted 13 years ago. We stopped in our tracks, mesmerized by the deeply poignant expression of one of Canada’s greatest heroes.

With all that is swirling about our world today, we felt that this painting had much relevance now, perhaps more than ever. Even in his last days, Terry endured, immortalizing the spirit of Canada: caring, kind, generous, forgiving, mighty.

Sometimes, in the roller coaster of daily life, we sometimes forget. But not for long.

If we hold and stay together, the flames of hope and resolution will burn brighter.

Registration for children and teen summer camps is open too!

Due to some other commitments we do not have courses scheduled this spring. Our specific plans however remain fluid and we will let you know of any upcoming events.
