My still lifes are all about the paint and how it naturally forms its own mini-arrangements and compositions. When I start painting, I rarely have a preconceived idea in mind, and if I believe I do, that very often rapidly changes with the first splash of colour.
Oftentimes, two or three blooms seem to talk to one another and I like to keep that conversation going.
